Check out this website for downloadable trail maps for Ontario. It includes the Voyageur Hiking Trail up our way and the Bruce Trail in Southern Ontario and many others. Unfortunately at this time they are only for Garmin Units. I need to correct this regarding Garmin. Several people including "Kieth Watson" have been working on the link to Magellan, see the Groundspeak discussion link below.
http://trailmaps.torontogeocaching.com/I have downloaded the file onto my Oregon 200. The trails show up great on the GPS. I was particularly looking for the downloadable trail map for the Bruce Trail in Southern Ontario. But it also gives the trails up here.
This would be particularly useful for anyone who wants to try for my "Picnic Table Lookout Cache". It shows the trails right up to the Picnic Table, which you can actually see on Google Earth.
The trails can also be downloaded into Google Earth.
This was been some great work undertaken from "northernpenguin" They are continuously updating this program as well.
